Tenancy agreement bermula pada 16/9 while course bermula

22/9 so ada seminggu gap

We thought sebab we're full time student so tak payah la bayar

langsung council tax tapi nehi rupanya yang seminggu tu pun 

kena bayar jugak..out of £1 thousand plus kami kena bayar dalam

£48 for 3 months installment

First month ok, but second month kami dapat surat cinta

Puncanya kami terlewat 4 hari

Tapi dia call, council suruh email recovery dept

Then, I seek professional help kat my uni

Ingat walk in je boleh meluah perasaan terus rupanya

kena set appointment la plak

Dalam 5 days later, I met the legal adviser, Steve

kat Macadam Building

Bla bla bla cerita, dia cakap ok I call the council now

but I need you to verify to them that you are KCL student

and  I'm an advisor

Ok, dia call council and passed the phone to me

Yang kelakar saya yang potpet potpet kat council tu

pasal problem and how to counter the summon (dgn alasan

student takdak duit hihihi)

Steve kat tepi terkebil kebil

Bila dia suruh bayar jugak baru pass kat Steve sebab ku

takdak idea dah nak cakap apa

Hasil perbincangan memang kena bayar sebab dah masuk sistem

Kalau buat bodo je boleh kena bailiff and the visa will be affected

Nasihat Steve, cuba nego dgn council utk bayar secara installments

utk beberapa bulan yang rasa mampu

Yelah, baiklahhhh

So, esoknya mengarang la ayat bodek kesian mintak bayar utk

sekian sekian bulan

Nasib baik diorang setuju

Hehehee alhamdulillah

Moral of the story

Buat student je, employee takyah mmg korang kena bayar council tax.

Kalau tinggal di private accommodation make sure you check

your tenancy start bila, kalau datang awal cuba nego dgn agent/landlord

untuk adjust date kat agreement

Kami taktau ok pasal ni, ingat student free je la

Tengok tempat juga kat UK ni, ada student yang bawak spouse

certain location spouse kena bayar tax, ada certain location

tak payah, so semak sebelum datang

semak sebelum kena

kalau tak semak kepala wooo
